Caerphilly Big Cheese Festival
The Big Cheese Festival is an annual free fair held in the grounds of Caerphilly Castle and kicked off with the Big Cheese Race at 4pm on Friday, July 27.
More than 80,000 visitors are expected for the weekend, which will then run from 11am until 9pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Parking around Caerphilly will be very scarce across the weekend but the town is served by two train stations
, Caerphilly and Aber, which both have large park and ride areas and park and ride schemes will be in operation at St Cenydd School (£2 per car) and St Ilan School (£4 per car).
Caerphilly Council have also organised a Big Cheese Bus, which is picking up throughout the borough.
