Kendrick Lamar and SZA announce huge Cardiff gig
Kendrick Lamar and SZA have announced a huge Cardiff gig this summer. The pair will play at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 19, 2025, one of four UK dates on their Grand National Tour.
The announcement comes just hours after Kendrick Lamar bought SZA out during his Super Bowl halftime show last night. The pair will also visit Glasgow, Birmingham and London as part of the UK leg of their tour across the US and Europe.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA performed their hit single All the Stars from Black Panther during the Super Bowl show but they have also collaborated on Doves in the Wind, Babylon, Luther and Gloria. The gig is the latest show announced at the Principality Stadium this summer with Oasis, Lana del Rey, Stereophonics and Catfish and the Bottleman all already billed.
The shows will be Lamar’s first in the UK since his Big Steppers Tour in 2022 and SZA’s first since her Glastonbury headline appearance last year, and will be both artists’ first in Wales. There will be a presale and general sale for the gig.
In the UK and O2 Priority sale takes place from 9am GMT on Wednesday, 12 February. This can be accessed via the O2 Mobile app or priority.o2.co.uk.
